I’ve joined the Run for Children's Guild and the Run of Hope 5K to raise funds for the incredible team of researchers at Seattle Children’s, who work tirelessly to pioneer safer, more effective treatments for childhood cancers. Less than 8% of federal funding for cancer research is directed toward pediatric cancer research. Now more than ever, philanthropy is a vital lifeline to the cancer research at Seattle Children's, and ultimately for the clinical trials and advancements in care that so many kids desperately need.
